Thanks to the Bypass, the 6-way valve is omitted when filtering water (it is only used when cleaning the filter). The water flows into and out of the filter in a straight line. This results in at least 30% lower pressure losses (depending on the pump type). It is easily mounted on the Bead filter thanks to the threaded coupling.
