The Polytech Move filter offers the advantages of a multi-chamber filter, i.e. reliable technology and stability through large biomass plants, in combination with the so-called Floating Bed filter, which creates an exceptionally good biological filtration.

Very good biological action of the Floating Bed Filter

Floating Bed filtration has developed for aquaculture. It consists of floating plastic bioblocks that have a very high surface adhesion, thanks to which they are continuously kept in motion by aeration. Aeration is from the bottom, so that the filter medium is constantly agitating in the water column. The bacterial culture will develop very well and after about 2 months, the white rings will turn brown where the bacteria have settled. The system is practically maintenance-free and the biological activity is extremely high
